Owner, Stefanie Johnson, chose early on to appease both parents with her career path; her mother, an interior designer, and father, a residential high rise developer. After graduating from Sewanee with two degrees, one in economics and the other in art, Stefanie ventured off to Charlotte where she worked for a residential developer selecting a palette of interior and exterior finishes for buyers to choose from. While coordinating the homebuyer's selections depending on their specific tastes, she was also decorating the model home units. Years later, she was hired on by a local general contractor to be the project manager for The Trust condominiums, a rehab of the old Home Federal Savings and Loan building in uptown Charlotte. She assisted homeowners in the selection of their high-end finishes, gourmet kitchens and spa style bathrooms as well as oversaw the accuracy of the installations on site. The units were fully customizable and ranged from 3,200 to 6,800 square feet—a process that took more than two years.

Stefanie offers a unique combination of design and construction knowledge. She prides herself on focusing on her clients' personal taste, taking a cost-effective approach to every job and believes that their home should reflect their personalities, things that they love and the way they live.
